Stacks of Port Kembla (2023)

Drawing further on the industrial landscape of Port Kembla, this work was shortlisted for the 2023 Flow National Watercolour competition. Three watercolour washes, chromatography collage elements and pencil were used in the production of this piece. Chromatography uses a solvent to separate the components of a dye. In this case I used water based markers and a water bath to create the images of the stacks.
