A collage work in my “Signs” series featuring a clear reference to Magritte’s famous painting: ‘Ceci n’est pas une Pipe’. Magritte is asking the viewing audience to consider what they a looking at: a picture of a pipe rather than the real thing. Or perhaps he’s thinking of the existential nature of art.
